Updated estimated population figures released in 2018 indicated that Hispanics accounted for approximately over one-half of the United States' population increase. According to the Selig Center for Economic Growth in its Multicultural Economy 2019 Report indicates that between 2010 and 2019 the Hispanic population increased by an estimated 21 percent while the non-Hispanic population experienced a growth of 4 percent and the total U.S. population increased by 7 percent.  Keeping step with this growth in population size is the rising median income of Hispanics now estimated by the Selig Center to be $1.7 trillion in 2019.
